Hello OIP Family,
Just a quick update on the goings-ons of the boys in One Inch Punch. We took a couple months off and have just started to jam again. The first session yielded a new song! It is in the midst of being arranged, but it is a very exciting new direction. We will be mostly in the writing frame of mind for the next few months because.............
1) Sebren is having a baby!!!(well , the actual act of HAVING the baby is going to be left up to his wife Deadra). If you get a chance send him some congrats. We are SUPER excited for them.
2) J is getting married, but most of you knew that already.
3) We are just in the mood to write. We have not taken a substantial break for more than 8 years. We think we deserve it! We also have felt a new direction coming, so we felt this was the perfect time to explore it.
Look for us to do a show around summertime, then take a little more time off to have babies and get hitched, then look for us to kick it back into high gear after that. Thanks so much for your support!!!
The OIP family has suffered the loss of our dear friend Mellisa McCullough. She has lost her battle with breast cancer at age of 34. If you pray, send your prayers to her two little boys and the rest of her family as they try to deal with her loss. She was a special person, always bringing joy wherever she went. If this reminds us of anything, it is that we need to appreciate what we have and hold on to every day. Mellisa, even in the face of cancer, lived life to its fullest and was one of the bravest people we have ever known. Rest well Melly, we love you.
